About the release
Friday Lights Music celebrating its 50th EP release with a shabang bazinga! Label’s boss Diamandy is collaborating with a young talent Ariel Dinik, that released his debut with us a year ago, to provide 2 strong originals that were tested and then fixed until perfection during 2018 in multiple countries and on many dancefloors. Produced, mixed and mastered mostly on analog gear – this EP is definitely one of the strongest, dancefloor-oriented releases we had. Seasoned with a remix from Henek – excellent Mexican producer from Sounds of Earth brand. Welcome to the family!
‘’Shelter Rush” original is taking us to a dark minimalistic side of that EP. Because of the harsh middle east reality – our boys, who lived and living in it, trying to show us a feeling of fear when one needs to hide or run from danger. Accompanied by alarm rising sound – Diamandy and Dinik trying to illustrate to us how a ‘’rush to a shelter” would feel. It is deep, rolling, rough and it is a dangerous floor tool.
‘’Octofuse” is an electro saw Moog Sub-Phatty bass based track with a lot of playful melodies and delay – reverb fx’s. We feel like in the aquarium when we hear it and the drop in the middle of the track is a bone breaker! Great festival tool!
‘’Octofuse” remix by Henek is exactly what you need in the club for tech house intense session. Groovy with a dark vocal and lots of vibes!
